Using Cloudflare shows Comodo SSL instead of the one I have on my server

Last update: Aug 19, 2021

Since your domain is pointed to Cloudflare in order to use the CDN service, the visitors’ browsers connect to the Cloudflare server and not to your host server directly. On their free plan, Cloudflare offer a generic SSL certificate issued by Comodo and do not allow you to add your own. If you wish to add your own certificate, you need to upgrade your Cloudflare plan to Business or Enterprise as currently only these two plans have this option.
