Can I have SSH root access to my Shared/Cloud server?
SSH access is allowed for all hosting plans. Root SSH access, however, is not allowed.
To make SSH access as secure as possible, SiteGround has made additional tweaks such as changing the default SSH port, substituting password authorization with keys and many others.
